Document Distribution

Non-Intrusive, Rules Based Document and Data Distribution: Automated, intelligent, data driven routing and content formatting of electronic documents with little or no modifications to your host systems or applications. Especially useful for ERP systems (SAP, Baan, Oracle, Intentia, QAD, etc), mainframes and midrange hosts, or with applications lacking an economical method of introducing new electronic output features.

Using this technology, you can use almost any standard output (such as a print stream, file document, structured data and XML) from virtually any of these host systems to build dynamic document output using virtually any message format and type, and all using your existing IT structure. Based on established rules created in your system, you can extract data to make new forms and documents to be delivered by FAX, EMAIL, PRINTER, and ARCHIVAL destinations. You can also support frameworks for information exchange including HTML, XML and EDI. Multiple destinations and rules can be invoked for multiple documents (formatted with custom content), all originating from one or several input streams.

For example, you may output a completed order from your ERP system into a proprietary, non-printable ASCII format, and the server system will automatically recognize the data and create separate, visually attractive documents in its output, which may include bitmaps, barcodes, and data from ODBC lookups. The first document may be an order confirmation faxed and emailed to your customer with the proper terms and conditions for his state, the second several bills of lading (or an XML stream) to your vendors in different locations, and a third a detailed email to the sales rep who is responsible for that customer.
