The recent InfoTrend's new Network Document Solutions forecast estimates that the overall office document solutions market will show a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27% by 2011, with total revenues reaching $2.1 billion. Hardware (scanners, MFP's and copiers) is becoming more difficult to differentiate and a more replaceable commodity. Furthermore, vendors are constantly dropping their margins to remain competitive.
